Organic Raspberry Ginger Jam

Heidi's Raspberry Ginger Jam uses a blend of four varieties of hand selected raspberries from Corrales, New Mexico. By blending in ginger she gives it a refreshing spiciness. Like all of Heidi's products, this jam is made by hand with loving care. She makes it in small batches using a low-sugar recipe she developed in her home kitchen. The fruit is cooked slowly in a brief & delicate boiling phase that preserves both the vitamins and naturally vibrant raspberry color. Raspberries contain significant amounts of antioxidants, chemicals linked to promoting a healthy heart. Ginger root also contains antioxidants & early studies have shown it to have blood thinning and cholesterol lowering properties that contribute to a healthy heart. Heidi's fantastic produce is grown by her brother Doug, an Organic Producer certified by the New Mexico Organic Commodities Commission under the auspices of the Federal Organic Program. Doug uses no artificial fertilizers and no pesticides or herbicides. He is committed to sustaining the land in healthy condition for future generations. A Standard order includes 3 jars.
