Uplands Cheese is owned & operated by two families: Mike & Carol Gingrich and Dan & Jeanne Patenaude.
They formed Uplands Cheese to craft a unique cheese using centuries-old techniques that originated in the alpine provinces of
France.
They started farming together in 1994 to work out more sustainable methods of pasture management & seasonal calving.
The two families prefer traditional farming to the factory farming that has become the norm in the dairy industry.
